Dance Wyoming
Joe and Linda Fabian have been competing in UCWDC competitions since 1997. We purchased an old building in downtown Wheatland, Wyoming in 2001 and converted it to a dance studio, and this past August moved it across the street to a much larger facility. Our hope is that Dance Wyoming will be a place not only for people to learn and enjoy the performing arts, but also as a resource for the
community.
Last fall we became area directors for Sunshine Generation, a performing group for children ages 3 to third grade. We are very active in our community and have enjoyed working with the high school drama coach Choreographing West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and The Wizard Of Oz. We have also been privileged to help several engaged couples get ready for their wedding with a special dance created just for them. For several years we have been guest instructors at the Black Hills Dance Festival and Rapid City Dance Event.
We are World Champion Dancers in Gold Division and are current champions in Crown. This is as high as one can go in the age divisions.
Dancing is great exercise and a wonderful way to make friends.
We’re proud to be considered “honorary greenies” by our Colorado friends. Please visit the Colorado links and don’t be shy, step up to the dance floor, start taking lessons and enjoy!
In real life Joe is retired and Linda is the Executive Secretary for the Wyoming State Historical Society. To find out more about Wheatland – a great place to live and work – go to the Wheatland
Area Development Corporation link, or the Platte County Chamber
of Commerce link.
See you on the dance floor!
